DaVinci resolve slow

Dear community

I set up a new pc. For 4k editing. I thought now I have enough power but DaVinci still has stickslip effects I don't wished for.
So my system data:

AMD 3.9ghz
AMD motherboard
GeForce gigabyte gtx 1080
16 GB RAM on 1600 MHz speed
Ssd and conventional Harddisks one in system and one external
750w source

Still not enough performance to edit?
Does it help to reinstall DaVinci after changing the graphics card?

Could be properties fault. GTX1080 with 8gig ram should be sweet spot for 4k edit with Davinci resolve.

If you use a lot of nodes, try using the proxy mode. No need for pre/re render. Go under playback, than proxy mode and chose half or quarter mode. It will speed things up a bit.

I would strongly recommend too bring this up in the black magic forum community.
