HD from Mavic and ipad up scales to 2k

If portability, looks and comfort are not important to you, you're still going to lose a lot of functionality

Your Ipad Air 2 has a value doesn't it? (even if you already owned it)... I don't see that in your costs (needs to be).

Assuming one had all those items you built your goggles with already- It's a great way to save money. Just so you know- you will lose some functionality, portability, and possibly comfort... BUT you're going to save a sh#t load of money. I do believe you did a great job with what you had.

Yes but they both do exactly the same job.
Oh! I forgot to ask are the DJI googles upscaled 2560x1440 resolution

The footage is smoother in the goggles than on any mobile device I've tried, so no it won't be "exactly the same"

Great alternative for those non haters.
I bought Litchi and a pair of blitz wolf goggles for $20. Work ok but I am looking at the DJI goggles now as I do want the control functions and piece of mind that it won’t disconnect as it has in past.
