@DrizzyDrones - not an answer to your question, but why would you not want to update the Fly app? The latest version comes with some useful display updates.

Some upgrades creates some unwelcome issues, and for me, if everything works as it should, I stay away from potential bugs by not upgrading.
Diito post 3, legacy wariness from Phantom 3's.
To answer post 1, I didnt have any problems. However a couple of days ago did update to 1.0.5 or something like that, not 1.0.6 which may or may not be out for android.
That said, from what I have read if you have the early "fly" apps there are sensible and desirable changes to the RTH or failsafe behaviour available in the later versions

And reason I usally wait a little bit because I wanna see others opinions and if theres any issue ive now Scince updated the app But still not firmware
