I I have this app on my phone and iPad. I’m having trouble now using my iPad for other things, but keep crashing. I check my storage and the Go4 app documents take up 15 GB of space, it is the largest single user of space on both. I had to post this from my phone because the iPad keeps crashing

Clear your cache in the app and see if that helps. I have not had your issue.

I think you were right. After work i re-loaded Go4 and its only like 525 MB- Thanks!

dumb question- can you tell me what the cache does/is for?
thsnks again!
As far as I can tell it just stores what ever you have videoed, update
files or whatever you call them( not techie) ans several other things.
I have always cleared it all ever week or so.

Also just so I know as I haven’t never checked it after deleting app then reloaded it check and see if it fact does delete your cache or stores any.

Yeah. That’s all the cached video and photos being stored. In the settings, you can limit the amount of cache being utilized. Set it to 2gb and it will delete the older files as needed to keep below the limit you set.

The cache images and video are all low resolution and intended for viewing only to check the basic flight. The real high res files are on the SD card. There is no need to use the+cache at all if you don’t want to.

I think it caches the maps too, which would be the biggest data hog.

Cache can be a godsend if you lose the drone during a great recording session.

It's also useful for sharing videos when the ones on the SD card are just too big.
