DJI Racing Goggles with Mavic 2 Can someone help me understand how they function with the controller?

Looking to buy the Racing Goggles. My question is do they work in conjunction with the Mavic 2 Controller, iPhone and the Goggles? Or do the Goggles take place of the phone / in my case the iPhone?
I don’t have the RE goggles, but the normal, white ones connect completely wirelessly and additional to your controller / phone connection.

I think it’s a kind of dual controller setup, because you can change flight modes, picture / video settings and other in the goggle‘s user interface as well.

The RE's connect to the M2P/Z via the 5ghtz
pagoda antenna, unless in 2.4 single mode,
like the mav one.. RE use ocusync 2, but can
use ocu 1 for the other series not on 5ghtz.
This is my understanding. Brett care to chime?

This is incorrect. The *analog pagoda is not used or even needed with the Mavic's digital occusync signal.

*except when using the occusync air system.
