Cast to what...
I think it will cast the display to another device.
Know idea how.....

I have not tried but generally it will find displays/TVs on your wifi network. Sometimes the tv will prompt to accept casting.

Still don’t know what it will cast to?
Apparently it’s an android thing..
Only used apple before Smart Controller.

I just tried it. I guess I also did it but got very mixed results from very pixelated images to clear ones. It could be my wifi or my tv. I went to display, cast, then tapped the upper right menu and chose something (can't recall) then my TV showed up and I selected that. My tv (samsung smart) had a prompt at its top to accept or connect. I did so (not the best images at this time of day):

Waoooo thanks for telling me about it. It worked for me after selecting in the upper left corner the 3 dots and then enable wireless display, it got cast to my large samsung TV. I was using previously with the HDMI output, now this is much convenient. Thanks

Hi anzacjack, I see no one has reply yet to your question. On my side I can´t answer to your question as I don´t use apple tv. I have being able to cast to my Samsung TV, also to a Roku box and latest it worked also with my Lenovo Laptop.

Have you being able to test it by now?

CAST....is a google developed protocol...will not work with applets...

I've ticked "Enable wireless display" box and yet my DJI SC won't cast to my Google smart TV nor Google Chromecast. Please help?
