Just tried this out today for the first time using my zoom and an nd32 at 1 sec, basically have to keep same speed as subject so its in focus.....its pretty hard to do. Def trial and error...def will get better pics now that i get the idea.

Cool idea that I haven't seen a drone used for. What the minimum speed the tracked object could be moving to still get some of this effect?

Well i was in sport mode doing 40 mph so it was super hard but accomplished it.....but if u match speed correctly your golden, u can do it at any speed like 5mph....im going to try active track next time with different subjects.

How come in Shot 2, only the one vehicle is in focus? Was its speed that much different from the others?

Yes that was the point just to have one subject in focus ...we were doing about 30mph shutter was at a half second....so while flying everything is going to be blurry accept for the car because i am speed matching him/her

Found a decent tutorial on this.

Tried it a couple times but had lacklustre results.
