Why do the back two props lean slightly forward? What changes to make the drone rotate? In other words would someone explain how the durn things fly? Obviously, motor speed changes to alow the drone to ascend and decend. Thanks in advance.

To answer your specific question - the aircraft turns by changing the motor speeds of the CW vs. CCW motors. For example, to rotate clockwise, the FC speeds up the CCW motors and slows down the CW motors (keeping the net lift constant), transferring CW angular momentum to the aircraft.

Thanks. I forgot about the reaction/opposite reaction.
I didn't see it explained why the back two motors lean slightly forward though.

That's just to move the thrust angle backwards slightly, so less pitch is needed for forwards motion. It also reduces the likelihood of VRS on vertical descent.

Ok. Thanks. There's a ton of math, physics, and stuff going on to keep these giant carpenter bees airborne that most people (especially me) don't have a clue about.

Just a point of information....
The material the prop is made of interests me. Upon performing the standard burn and sniff (yes, this is common in the industry for base resin identification) and from the tests I have performed (on wasted props) indicates the material is nylon. Nylon props have served the RC model airplane folks for many years. Nylon is one tough customer which takes a licking and keeps on spinning. Nylon fails more progressively (AKA slowly) than other materials (including carbon fiber)….and...it cost a lot less.
Saving a penny, everywhere they can.
