During the auto discharge process, do the Mavic pro batteries over discharge themselves?

I put my Mavic into storage until I can get it's replacement parts. I expect for the batteries to discharge soon. But I have to catch it so they don't possibly over discharge

Not an issue. They will not discharge to an unsafe limit on their own.

As noted they will discharge to storage level by themselves fine.
Keep an eye on them and after x days they should be around the 2 full 3rd led flashing level.
If you don’t fly for a long time, they will continue to discharge very slowly and need checking maybe every 2-3 months.
Watch the controller too.
My M1P unit will drop charge slowly with time, these don’t have auto discharge.
