Zaholi has a long history, as it existed in the year 1500. Important sights of the settlement are the orthodox churches of Agios Georgios (built in 1811 and distinguished for its architectural style and the three holy tables, dedicated to Agios Georgios, Agios Dimitrios and Agios Konstantios and Eleni), of the Assumption of the Virgin (built in 1830 at Katafygia) and Agia Paraskevi (built during the same period but rebuilt from the ground up in 1963). Another special attraction is the stream of Mylos. Waters, small waterfalls, geese, fish. A park for walking and relaxing.
