Had my mavic pro out for a flight the other day on a bright sunny day at the beach. I was trying to achieve 4K 24fps with 1/50 shutter speed using a cheap neewer ND32 filter to get that "perfect cinematic look". To my surprise the exposure meter was somewhere in the +1 to +1.5 area. Is it time for an ND64 filter? Maybe ND32/PL? or is there some way to use exposure compensation? Please Help!

Sand on a sunny day reflects a lot of light. You’d want to use an ND64.

Use the exposure wheel on the right side of the controller.

That will alter the shutter speed, at least doubling it. That may or may not affect what the OP is trying to achieve.
