Extension legs for mini !!!!!

Just received my PYG extension legs for my mini, they fit perfectly, you can hardly tell they are an accessory. They fit easily and securely and easily removed. I have to remove the front legs ( short ones ) but it fits in the case perfect. Caution though, front legs together weigh 7.2 grams, and the rear ( longer legs ) weigh 11.1 grams for a total of 18.3 grams.

For the record, I would be very wary about adding any extra weight to the MM at all. There have already been too many wind related issues. That added weight will accentuate the issue.

An interesting point. I can see the guards and wind but cannot wrap my head around how the leg extensions would be a wind factor?

I’m sure he is referring to the added weight and not the aerodynamics.

Weight not an issue for me. I fly with extensions, body wrap and LED/w velcro. All up weight at 275. Airdata not significantly different from first out of box flight to current weight. This setup works for me.

Now that’s either very gutsy, or very dumb. I’m going to go with gutsy! Don’t think I would have done that with the Mavic Mini but I was pleasantly surprised it handled the additional weight.
