I fly over water about 99% of the time. I was wondering if there is any data on fail rates not caused by operator or accidental crashes. Also, if DJI will replace the unit if you show them the cached video of the Mavic going down without being the pilots fault.

There is no data.
Even if you could collect data on all the incidents, you still wouldn't have information on all the non-incidents to be able to calculate any rates.
DJI will replace ... if you have evidence to prove the incident was due to a DJI issue.
Usually that means being able to give the drone to DJI which is a problem if the drone is 200 feet under water.
But in some circumstances the flight data alone shows enough information to satisfy DJI.
Video is probably never going to be able to prove the cause was a DJI issue.
