After the battery popped off my MP2 and it went in the ocean I went out and brought a Air2, the only drone I could find in Lombok. Flyit off my moving sailboat was stressful but it handeled the wind really well!
DJI ended up replacing my MP2 so alls well!

Just got my MA2 3 days ago and finding your post with a sailboat bar ought back fond memories. I was thinking yesterday what it would have been like having a drone when my wife and I circumnavigated the Caribbean over a 7 year period. Looking for treasure around the coral reefs would have been my pass time, so, I will be watching you for another video post. I had thought of using the “track” feature while under sail. I can only imagine how much fun you will have! G’day mate

Quite the shocker every time a little boat appears out of nowhere right in front of you. So sketchy.

Cool, yeah the birdy comes in real handy when sailing. entering lagoons is also much safer if the charts are no good. I've got about 130 videos on my channel and nearly all of them have drone footage. Enjoy!

Think someone needs to invest in a "flotation" device for their drone.

Yep, would be rad to have bikes too. My small boat I really need to choose my toys wisely.

It’s not very often i’ll sit through a near 15 minute video but that was a really nice video. I’m not one bit jealous of your adventure ?
Regarding COVID, I’ve just got over it so for all the people who say it’s not a thing then let me tell you it is, it was horrendous for me yet my wife and teenage kids were fine, they just lost their smell and taste for a week whereas it hit me properly. If you have the ability to stay where you are then I would. Going to subscribe to your YouTube channel now. Thanks for sharing your video
