crashed my mini 2 today and the gimbal is stucked leaving no space from camera to the back portion. searched the net and this is what i found:
for reference this is what the gimbal looked like after the crash:
after crash photo 1:
after crash photo 2:
the video helped, exactly the same problem like mine. take out the 4 screws and take the upper part(plastic) out and just put it back. worked k like a charm.
the difference with the video was that he was using screw driver to force the top plastic off. so the scratches in the plastic shows. ive used my fingernails instead and a plastic like the photo below to unsnap the plastic so it wont show those unwanted marks:
placing back the top plastic back and screws(4 screws only) on the gimbal is back to normal and no scratch marks that the plastic shows it was forcefully opened:
gimbal back to original, operational or working placement that it has a quarter of an insh from the back plastic:
no scratches(after putting back) using the plastic in PRYING open the mini 2:
from video that was forced by hard object to open, DONT open or PRY it with screw driver or hard object:
i hope this helps others. dont try to look for "snap back" solutions without opening the mini 2 as it may break the gimbal.
