Flight speed restriction on the Mini 2

I experienced flight speed reductions in the Mini 2 on occasions. I couldn't explain the flight speed restrictions at first but now, the mystery is solved. DJI restricts the Mini 2's speed when the camera is pointed downwards.

I was afraid of flying the Mini 2 thinking that it might not make it home due to the slowed down speed whose cause was unknown.

Now, mystery solved.

The update by Dragon7 youtube says the restriction was removed. Dated 1 year ago. I have no idea myself.

It's a known problem, I thought it had been fixed, if you have it you might want to update stuff as it can / could result in blown-away drones.
Alternately set the fn button to swap between camera horizontal and camera fully down, it gives a quick pitch-change of the camera and seconds might be vital.

Restriction is still there. There is a thread where slup made a chart of recent flight.

Is it because of the props holder? Does the prop holder deform the rear props. If your issue is really is deformed (flattened) props... the cause for the deformation can be anything that press on the blades continuously during a longer period, during storage for instance. A prop holder sounds...

Yes I just found this out with my mini-2 last week. Couldn't understand the lack of speed which increased as I began to rotate the camera up. Latest DJI Fly and firmware updates. Glad to hear my trusty mini 2 isn't defective.
