Fly into the 60m limit zone but can't fly back?

Today I flew from a green zone into a limit height zone but when I wanted to go back, the AC got stuck due to the geo fence. I then lowered below 60m but still couldn't get pass. I had to run 450m to get my AC back. Why is it that I can get there without a problem but get stuck when going home, even after I lowered altitude?

Never been in that exact situation, but have had some close calls related to losing signal. 2 things that have worked in my situations are:

• Initiating RTH
• GIving full upward throttle (left stick forward)

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I also use the Litchi app which allows for automation flights paths. It's great app for planning specific flight paths to capture video and pictures. That app also allows you to fly the drone just like you do in the DJI App. When I use that App, I never get any geo fencing and warnings and pretty much can fly anywhere and how-ever high I want... not that I am flying illegally. But if that should happen again int he future, you could close out of the DJI app and bring up the Litchi app and fly back home. Bare in mind the Litchi app is expensive as far as smart phone apps go, but it is worth it for everything else it can do.
