Flying from inside Car?

So I’m filming an engagement this afternoon. It’s around 10 degrees out. Im wondering if anyone has flown from sitting inside a car before and had any problems.
I’ll be within a few hundred yards but it’d be nice to not freeze my hands up while flying.

I've done it a few times when it was frigid outside. It's not the most ideal environment to fly in, but its warm. Stay tuned for the VLOS guys to chime in...

So it’s doable and doesn’t screw with the connection or anything?

Yep I have sat in the car a few times and flown. I was also able to keep VLOS the whole time.

I recommend taking off and recording home point at least 25' from car. Then go into car and pilot.

Done it on several occasions. No problems. I like to launch from about 10-20M in front so I can see it better returning.

Yes. Close, but not too close!

No problem, very convenient when it is freezing cold!
Best to park on a top of a hill to keep VLOS!

you will be operating/ filming with your drone from inside your car.?
