Flying in NY and NJ

Is there anywhere I can fly near the water in Hoboken or somewhere near manhattan just to get a couple aerial shots of the city skyline , do I have to call all the heliports over 10 of them on the jersey side alone

Just be very cautious. The airspace in and around the city is a pain in the *** to do anything in.

I'm interested in getting some shots of the Burr/Hamilton duel site from the water. Maybe we could team up and watch each other's backs. Or one of us could be in a rowboat just in case
