Hello all,

I'm going to be traveling to Thailand later this year and I'd love to take my Mavic Pro with me to get some footage from several of the more remote places I'm going to be. Upon initial investigation, I'm seeing that I need to file for all sorts of registration with the local authorities to be able to legally fly my Mavic Pro. Does anyone have any experience with this process that could give me a cheat sheet on how to fulfill all the necessary requirements?

One side note to my question is that you have to give proof of insurance as part of the registration. Do they make international insurance for a 101 flier? I've not been able to find insurance that other online sources have said that they are using (since most of the insurance seems to be for 107). I would only be getting this insurance to comply with the local regulations for this application.

Thanks for the help!

I have details of a company in Thailand who offers insurance.
If you want, PM me your email and I will send you the link when I get to work.
