Flying indoors in a no fly zone?

No. The FAA does not control aircraft flying inside of buildings.
 
Sorry dumb question but I didn't know if they can track your gps signal and think you are outside.
 
No, the FAA cannot track you since your Mavic does not broadcast the data it records. They could read the data on its internal memory card though.

Seems to me the FAA/CAA have no idea what they control the amount of legal/illegal posts i see on here. Truth be known the drone pilot controls where he flies. You gotta have a very big house to fit a jumbo or even a microlight in your front room. lol.
 
What pisses me off is I can't even test or spin my rotors in my own house because I live in Disneyland's no fly zone. It's stupid.
 
What about wrapping it in foil or flying wifi? I know range is restricted. I dont know, man. Just me thinking.
