Found a Mavic Mini in the forest between the villages of Rathen and Weissig, south east of Dresden on February 6th.

Who lost such a drone in this area?

Well done on the post looking for the pilot . . . even though a long shot, hopefully someone local will see you post and may know the person concerned.
Hmmm, it COULD be someone from Florida, they've had a few recently on the crash flyaway section, those things ? travel light and fast !!

I'm sure I read a story on Facebook where someone gave the serial number of a lost drone to DJI and they contacted the owner. Drone successfully reunited.

DJI can surely help ... the serial number is inside the battery compartment on a sticker.

In Germany, drones are requiered to have an fireproof identification of the owner with name, adress and phonenumber. Look for this label,it might be as big as 25 x 15 mm.

this only affects drones weighing over 250g!

Correct, just didn't realize that the mini was so light.
