Hi All,
I had a Mini 2 up for sale with a bad gimbal and no one has been interested in buying it. So when a gent offered to swap me a Blade 450 heli, Blade MCPX heli, Blade QX drone and an awesome custom built fpv racing drone for it I said hell yeah!

After a day of fiddling with this and that and watching a load of youtube I was frustrated. Nothing wanted to work right. Programming was right as far as I can tell as a novice. Binding was happening and some things were trying to work. I moved the throttle rapidly and the motors came to life a bit! I moved the throttle trim and the drone was running! Thought about that and went for my can of WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner. Took apart the TX and cleaned the throttle pot and so far I have the 450 heli operating(I am NOT flying this bird without a ton of practice!) and the racing drone works.
This racing drone is unbelievably fast! It is going to hone my flying skills to the point that I should be able to fly my Mavic Pro in and around much tighter places for awesome pics.

A note to dji…..make your drones a quarter as tough as this monster and they will last forever. 😂😂. I describe it as an angry flying blender.😉

@Phantomrain.org how do you waterproof one of these? Hahahahha. Just kiddin.

Woah! Flying this thing is like driving a Ferrari! Hahahahha. I thought the stick response on the M1P was good, ha! You touch the stick and it is going that direction right now. Corners are not drift into it and pull out full throttle all the while hoping you don’t keep drift into a tree, they are get where you want to turn and just turn and it turns now. Add a little banking to that and wow!

Flying in the wind is wild. Dji has that down, this is, ya better be on your toes or a draft will send it to the neighbors house. Lol

Now if I can figure out how to make it work with the Goggles RE.

I figure if nothing else it is fun and it should really help a lot with improving muscle memory so I am better at flying the M1X in tight spots. I haven’t been doing this long enough so that I always make the right stick movement for what I want to happen. And, it mows my lawn a little bit at a time. 😉

If I'm not mistaken, FPV drones don't work with the Goggles RE. Or maybe it's normal drones don't work with the FPV goggles... 🤔 I'm not entirely certain but it's worth a try I guess.

I need Goggles! Hahahaha. Going as fast as this thing will go trying to fly wothout them is a lot to keep up with. I just experienced my first crash with it. 🙄😂😂😂. Thought I had room on the old railroad bed behind my place so I hot the throttle and forward hard to see what it’ll do. What it will do is go about 60mph so fast that a novice like me couldn’t judge the distance just right and before I could get up higher it went into a tree and smashed and chewed it’s angry little self through the tree and onto the ground. I would estimate from about 35 feet or so and it had to be doin at least 60mph when it hit the tree as it was a fresh battery and wide open trying to climb out of danger.
I was like oh man this is gonna be BAD!!! 2 props, 2 tiny zip ties and realign one arm in the frame and it is up and flying again!!! AMAZING!!!!!

Any Mavic would look more like this. :)

Yes you do NOT want to fly FPV without goggles. That is like having a Ferrari and never driving it...never even sitting in it. Sure, LOS to feel how it moves up/down/left/right...but as soon as you can fly around in a little circle and keep it 2' off the ground...get those goggles!
