I hadn't flown my Mavic Pro for a month or so but when I got it out last week I discovered the video now has a nervous twitch every few seconds. The link below is a short video that shows the problem. There are minor glitches throughout the video but major ones at 9, 12, 31, 35, and 37 seconds. The video is from the microSD card so although I see the same glitches on the real time display the problem is not the video link.

Does this look like a gimbal issue? Is it repairable?

Thanks!
Andy

Almost looks like is skipping frames ?

The minor glitches look similar to skipped frames but the major ones are definitely not. At 35 seconds in the video the pitch jumps up a few degrees and stays there for a couple seconds, then reverts back to its original position. It seems that has to be the gimbal rather than the camera.

try a firmware update and calibration. hopefully that works
I checked for updates and updated the no fly zone but firmware was the latest. I've done a gimbal calibration and compass calibration but no change. I could be mistaken but I thought the gimbal calibration was to correct for tilted horizon. I know there are many types of calibrations, some of which are performed with DJI Assistant. Which calibration did you have in mind?

Thanks!

That's weird! It's almost like the gimbal pitch wheel is messing up for an instant. If there is nothing else to try, I'd calibrate the RC control sticks, which includes the gimbal wheel. That's done with just the RC on and via the GO 4 app.

Well it looks like my Mavic Pro needs to go in for repairs. I've seen nothing but glowing comments about ThunderDrones so I will contact them and see if they can restore my Mavic to health.
