Gimbal stuck (code 40002)

Hello all,
I have flown my MM into the bushes and now getting the message: Gimbal stuck (code 40002). When I start the drone, the gimbal turns a few times and freezes. When the drone is off, I can turn the gimbal freely in all directions without any obstructions. I don't see any damages or cracks and the gimbal is hanging in the strings. I tried to calibrate the gimbal, but it stopped at 10%. I tried also a refresh of the software, installed the older software on it and installed the latest software again. This didn't helped either. Is there a way to fix this problem besides bringing it to a repair shop?

I've seen a video (can't find it just now to send a link) that allegedly fixes this problem. Essentially they just powered on the drone, let the gimbal do its stuff and then repeatedly gently "flicked" the gimbal to manually move it on its 3 axes, powered down and then powered up again. I've not had the problem so have no idea if it works! Use at your own risk!
