Walked El Camino de Santiago from Portugal to Spain this last month and wanted to share a couple shots taken.

Nice pictures.

You schlepped along a drone on that hike? Wasn't that a lot of work and weight?

Hahahaa it takes dedication buddy :) I’ve got 15years in the army... an extra 10-15 lbs in the bag wasn’t too horrible... I take it you know something about the Camino???

one of my bucket list things to do, but, probably will be a drive, not a real hike/walk. great pics, great land.

Here’s a couple more. The others won’t upload stating invalid extensions and that the files are too large

It was amazing!! If you can do it, I highly recommend it!! We did the Portugues costal route and I wouldn’t have changed it for anything!!

physically - can, but time wise - nope. week or 2 is the top for both of us, wife and i, what we could get off work. so, only way is to hope to win the lottery, may be :)
i bet it is amazing.

You can do the 100km in about 4 days. If you had a week, give one day for travel out there. One day to get on the right time, 4 day hike from Pontevedra to Santiago and a day travel back to the states... 8 or 9 days would be ideal and you would get the full effect of the Camino :)

You were lucky they did not fine you. The issue of drones in Spain is very complicated and the sanctions are very large.

You’re absolutely correct. I think it took about a year to plan the Camino trip and almost took about 6 months to communicate with the proper people and authorities to receive clearance and approvals for certain flights. The most difficult was around the cathedral of Santiago. Even for that flight required an on site observer from the cathedral and authorities. They enjoyed the experience and were happy with the end results. I don’t believe in luck. Especially in other countries

Well then if you had requested the appropriate permits, luck was not necessary. Okay, yes. Good luck not having had an accident. The images that you have taken is a summary of the Galician Coast, but you would still have a lot to record :) By the way, you have not recorded video ?? You have YouTube channel to see them ?? Greetings from Galicia

Always a good flight when there is no incident :) yes we walked from Porto Portugal to Santiago de Compostela. I took plenty of video but haven’t processed it all yet. I tried to post some directly to this site but am getting errors so for now I will have to sit and wait and process and then upload soon! Such beautiful country side! Amazing landscapes and beautiful cliffs. I am jealous! I live inland in the United States and truly enjoyed every moment of the trip!!!

Well, back WHEN... (g) But now a days, weight is more of an issue - both around the waist and on the back (g). I do know about that trail. I've done the Haute Route a number of years ago. I'd thought about the Camino.
