Hi folks! My son-in-law got a new Mavic Pro for Christmas last year. I couldn't let him get ahead of me, so I got a Mavic Pro Platinum the day after Christmas!! It arrived from DJI in early January. What an amazing machine!!
Before the MPP, I had a Blade 350 QX2 with a GoPro Silver and the 2-axis gimble. Never could get it to give me FPV for further that about 50'. Gave up trying and just flew around pointing the camera as best I could.
I've also had several small quad-copters that had to be flown indoors. Never could find a big enough space to fly them correctly. There's one lampshade in the living room that will never be the same

I've been lurking around for a couple of months and learned so much for the experts on this forum. Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge with us newbies!!
