Hi there, i'm glad there's a forum for Mavic pilots over the net, so i can learn from other pilots from all over the world. My name is agung, i came from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. But for now currently i live in Boyolali, Central Java, Indonesia. Hope we can share some experience together when piloting this small UAV [emoji56]

Hi there, greetings from Bangkok!

I'll be looking to travel down to Indonesia in the next month or so; if there are any current regulations/laws one should know about, I'd be happy to know of in advance.

No rush though, trip is still not confirmed.

Thank you and great shot from your Mavic!

Hai mate, sorry for late reply. I've been busy arrange our nation independence celebration at the office lately.

Anyway, about your question, in indonesia you can fly you aircraft for maximum 150 meters AGL. If you want to film or taking photos on Borobudur Temple or Prambanan Temple, the regulation asked you to request a permit and for me it's too expensive in indonesian rupiahs. But, if you want to fly at other place, i think that's okay. May i ask you, where do you want to go in Indonesia, mate? Maybe i can suggest some place that can be nice to fly at
