Ground Station app in Apple app store... usable?

I just noticed and downloaded "Ground Station" in the Apple app store and downloaded it.
Seems that the last version update was 1.4.63 around 3 years ago (around 2016).
Is this something that anyone actually uses anymore? I know there is GS Pro but wonder why it's still on the app store and so outdated.
I can't get it to connect to my M2P for nothing.

It's for airframes equipped with ACE, Naza, Wookong or A2 flight controllers.
Those FC's are still used and therefore available on the AppStore.

As you already said, you need GS Pro to work with M2P/M2Z/M2E/M2ED
