guys has anyone tried flying with this Silicone Motor Cover Caps on? will the mavic fly? is it safe for the motors?

Not sure if that would be such a great idea. The brushless motors are open at the top for cooling purposes. Block this opening might cause increased wear and tear and/or overheating!

Not to mention possible vibrations, jello and additional stress on the motors.. Bad idea imo.

Even if it didnt cause cooling and jello effect it wouldn't do much in a crash. if the motors are gonna break they will regardless of some silicon.
