Hi,

The drone is advertized to be able to take HDR panorama. I could find no such settings, I have the option to take only normal panoramas. Also the drone does not save .raw files from unstitched photos like the original Mavic Air did, it saves only a .jpg. This is definitely a downgrade.

Another nuisance is, that the drone saves all footage in one directory. For example when using the AEB -option it does not create a spesific folder for each pic.

I generated Panoramas, in 180 and wide-angle, all 4 of them produced RAW DNG files, I have 21 x .DNG files each (for the 180 degree panos) at ~23.5MB in size, wide angle produced 9 DNG files, at 4000x3000 pixels in size when viewed in Photoshop. The interesting thing however is the metadata of the file says 960x720px, although when opened straight through, they're 4000x3000px.

Each pano generated their own folder, exactly like how they did in the Mavic Air (original):

PANORAMA/

PANORAMA----> 100_0011/
PANORAMA----> 100_0011---->PANO0001.DNG
PANORAMA----> 100_0011---->PANO0002.DNG
PANORAMA----> 100_0011---->..............
PANORAMA----> 100_0011---->PANO00021.DNG

PANORAMA----> 100_0012/
PANORAMA----> 100_0012---->PANO0001.DNG
PANORAMA----> 100_0012---->PANO0002.DNG
PANORAMA----> 100_0012---->..............
PANORAMA----> 100_0012---->PANO00021.DNG

The corresponding .JPG pano was generated in the 100MEDIA/ folder, as expected.

I'm not sure which firmware you were on, but it's behaving in the same manner as the original Mavic Air.

Oh. Mine do not appear :( Can you confirm which firmware you are on? I immediately updated mine when I got the drone.

Also, do you hear three distinct shutter sounds when shooting panos, or just one click?

There's just the one capture per position during the pano (it's not AEB), however the exposure was not blown out in resulting JPG file where the were exposure warnings on-screen... making me think that it's handling the 'HDR' aspect of the Pano automatically and the pano is nicely balanced and exposed as part of the offering (it's not an on-off feature). Of course then, the RAW file is there too, per capture for post.

I'm not sure of the current firmware version, I'd have to check, except that it's up to date as of today's date (installed about 3 days ago).

I tried to update firmware again, but it says everything is up to date. I also formatted the internal storage and the SD -card, in case that was the problem. I tried to shoot a few panos and pics again, into both SD and internal, but the result in both cases is like it is in the screenshot. The DCIM -folder itself is empty, there is no HDR nor PANORAMA -folders for .DNG files there, both DNG (when using bracket) and JPG is dumped into 100MEDIA. And still no .dng's for panoramas just the jpg :(
