Thank you, not quite 117 but I find the internet already knows entirely too much

But yes, I did join quite a while ago. I've really enjoyed reading.

Disappointingly, I'm not having as much time as I'd like to fly, so I think my Zoom will go away for a few months and then I'll repurchase whatever is flavor of the day at the time.

Well hate it’s going to have and part from you and your not
getting to fly as often as you like. I have spells like that but
would feel like a fish out of water if I didn’t have at least 1
to fly when I was able. Good luck to you and yes this forum
is full of interesting reads . If your having issues if you cant
get it fixed by these guys don’t know if you can.

Indeed. The knowledge level, which is freely shared, is truly impressive and quite humbling.

After getting my 107 and flying a little bit, I decided I knew everything but very VERY quickly discovered otherwise! The one thing that I'd REALLY to happen would be to find a way to stop service prices from their race to the bottom. I originally got the 107 with the intention of making a little money as a side thing, but it quickly became evident that most of the simple work is being done by unlicensed people for very little money. I know a local realtor is paying someone $75 a time for finished videos of properties for sale. Not much incentive to invest time and significant money in equipment.

In a couple of weeks the Zoom & googles etc will be in the classifieds - a wonderful facility for the members - and then hopefully in Spring I'll be looking for the 3 or whatever is out then. Would like to dabble in infrared as well.
