Welcome to you from the wide-open spaces of Texas!

Always wanted to visit NZ, but haven't made it yet. Guess I'll have to see it thru the lens of your Mavic Air. Lots of fellow Kiwis and others of us from around the world are here to help you gain skill as a pilot and photographer.

Glad to have you with us!

Welcome to Mavic Pilots! :) Enjoy the forum!Thumbswayup

Welcome to the forums - a lot of good info here. Also the search function (magnifying glass icon upper right) is a great way to find answers to many of the questions a "newbie" will have. We were all "newbies" at one point
Also nice to see another over 70 member here :D

Welcome to the forum from Chicago the Windy City. Besides this forum you can get help with issues and information by clicking on Mavic Help and Mavic tips. Let your fingers do the walking. And also, a caution about using RTH, good to fully understand how the RTH feature works. There are many possible scenarios that could occur when RTH is initiated. Please carefully review the RTH section of your DJI manual so you fully understand what to expect. The RTH feature is one of the most complex features of a DJI drone.
While it works very well, and rarely fails, it can do unexpected things if your not sure how its supposed to work. Maybe you already checked it out, trying to save you some headaches in the future. There are four very important bullet points, which you should know about. Fly Safe have Fun and Happy Hovering.
