Hi All,

First, very nice community here! Lots of tips and people dedicated to help others. Congrats for achieving that!

I bought a Mavic air 2 this spring after a year with a Yuneec Mantis Q. My goal is to come back to photography, after a few years of rush with family and a house construction project, but now in the air. My first year with the Mantis convinced me and gave me good results with photos. The MA2 now provide more challenges with videos. It’s a powerful machine.

Thanks in advance for all the help

Guillaume

e MA2 is a terrific machine with a great camera. Lots of cool stuff to shoot in Eastern Canada! Hope you got the Fly More kit--you'll appreciate those extra batts.

Read the manual (link below), and be conservative at first. Practice using "Find My Drone" (DJI doesn't make it easy). Don't wait until you lose your MA2 before you try to learn under stress in less than ideal conditions.

We have over 100,000 members worldwide--including many in Quebec--to help you advance as a pilot and photographer. Ask for help when you need it. Share your work when you can.

Welcome to the forum from another Quebec resident (Montreal actually).

Anyone else from Montreal care to disclose their favorite areas? One of mine is around the St-Lawrence Seaway where the big ships pass. Another is around the New Champlain Bridge construction and the new REM construction.

Please share your ideas here.

Sure they must be great spots. In Québec city if you pass by, the old port with the Chateau Frontenac is wonderfull.
