Hi all,

I got a Mavic Air a couple of weeks ago, and I am really enjoying the pics and video that it doing..Only flying in very light winds at the moment, what is the maximum usable wind to fly in? Knots preferred!

I have been flying RC aircraft for over 40 years, so I am fairly confident in my piloting skills!
I think of my Mavic air as a flying camera, rather than a small aircraft, and i keep it fairly close to me at the moment (around 200m).
I was using my aircraft to carry cameras (35mm film)25 years ago, and got quite good at it...

what is the maximum usable wind to fly in?

In the Mavic Air specs, DJI recommends not flying in winds that exceed 38 kph (or 20 knots).

Wow! I dont even fly my fixed wing models in 20 knots!
I amazed at the stability of my MA, but I dont think that I am going to be flying at more than 12-15 knots even so...
