Bought my first Mini in June. I've been reading these post since and got lots of pointers yet I still landed my drone into a pond. Lesson learned the hard way. Pay attention to your drone not the person trying to talk to you. A costly lesson because I couldn't retrieve it. On drone two and after a few shaky flights (nerves) I'm feeling better and am back up and taking some awesome shots. I'm hooked.? www.durelartworks.myportfolio.com
