Finally decided to join this forum after reading many of the greats posts. I've been flying my Mavic 2 Zoom since March 2020. I've crashed my drone twice (far from people) and I'd like to share my experiences with others to keep their drones healthy.

Great choice, the M2Z considering thre rugged beauty of Norway.. The M2Z almost flies itself. This can lead to overconfidence. Try to be conservative at first, and expand your horizons gradually.

Read your manual, and practice using "Find My Drone". Chances are you'll crash and perhaps lose your drone. Don't wait until that happens to try to learn under less than ideal conditions. Also, you may want to consider hacking the FAA mode, which will give you increased signal strength, and help prevent lost connectivity.
