help needed or advise on lost drone

I was flying ard 800ft and was doing some pano shots, and while I was descending the drone or returning it bk to me, I was taking some backwards shots.. and suddenly It crashed into woods.

I tried find my drone, but nowhere to find on the ground, and I'm sure its stuck in the trees etc..

I know, I cant use refresh, but little disappointed at my mistake learned. I do have state farm rental insurance for my apt. I live in Southern California.
is there anything I could do with statefarm as personal article?

if not, the only thing I could do, is buy just the mavic for $799

Is there no way to climb the trees and look for it?
The find my drone function is pretty accurate.
Can the remote still connect to the Mavic?

Check your policy, and you might also want to call State Farm. The Mavic does have a camera, and some renters policies cover it under PAP. Paying a deductible would be better than shelling out $799 for a new body.

at that time, I couldn't climb.. location was at national forest.. but I did had signal and downloaded my videos and pics before the battery ran out..
