Home point update ???

Question, when the voice on the controller ( I call it Alexa's sister ) says home point has been updated, should I believe it or manually go into the menu and set home point??

Check the location of the H on the map to ensure it has been set to the correct location.

I always interpret that voice as "now the wonder tech have placed the H on the map" ... then I do what she tells me ... I check the map my self

the most important thing is for her to say it ,and check the screen for sats locked before you take off

Does the verbal confirmation not say “The Homepoint Has Been Updated, Please Check It On The Map”?

Just glance at the map for visual confirmation the correct point has been recorded.

And, whilst you quickly look at the map for the H, check that the drone is physically facing the same was as indicated on the map.

Yeah, what @Simmo said is really what you are checking. If it's facing all weird, then there may be some mag interference?

There should almost never be any need to set your home point manually.

For me, checking the direction is very important, too.
