Thanks...actually just recently aquired a Mavic Pro. I took the risk and bought it used but despite it's crude appearance, I am more than pleased with it's overall flight performance. I'm just having issues with the gimball dancing around violently and actually had smoke earlier today that appeared to have come only from the gimball. Guessing it would be the the control motor and haven't powered up since. Ribbons seem fine and cables don't appear to have any breaks or heavy wear. So I'm just kinda fishin for solutions I guess. I'm sure photos would help so I'll post first thing tomorrow but, as far as a history with it...I just can't say I have one. Again thanks for having me.

@djidroneservice will diagnose it for free. I think they will also pay shipping both ways even if they don’t do the repair.

But if it smokes then starting up may do even more damage.

I'm kinda late Drawn but welcome to our humble home. If its smoking (then) that's a bad sign. Plenty of reasonable repair shops on here that can help with that. Use the search tool to locate them . . .
