Lake LA 270 Turbo pilot . I have to have a way to transport my drone from place to place, right?

Thank you for the info. I just shared three other ways to become involved in SAR.

1. Texas State Guard or State Guard in your state.

2. Civil Air Patrol

3. CERT Civilian Emergency Response Teams controlled by your county EMS organization, in association with FEMA.

As a pilot, I enjoy extending my aviation love to drone flying. Volunteering in SAR , EMS, FEMA helps take what is an annoying hobby to no participant, to enhance the value of your aircraft.

Thank you. It is tons of fun.

I switched to a flying boat in retirement to start focusing on fun over point to point flying. A small drone like the Mavic is easy to carry along.
