HOW TO DELETE AN ITEM FROM YOUR DJI PROFILE - DE ACTIVATE IT.

I posted this in the Classifieds but thought it might be useful to everyone.
Having activated and now selling a DJI Mini SE, the question was asked whether one needs to "de activate" this from your account. I asked the amazing DJI Support team and they responded advising that yes, you do need to de activate it or the new owner will not be able to fly it.

Here is the procedure:

Start the DJI Fly App on whatever device you use.
Click on Profile

Then click on Device Management......

When you open Device Management any registered drones will appear.

Select the one you want to removes, go to Settings where it can de removed.
Go out of the App and back in and now you should only see the one drone....

I believe you would only need to delete it if it was bound to your account for the flyaway coverage. If the controller and aircraft are not "bound to your device", then I don't think it matters.

The DJI Care Refresh/Flyaway is bound to the S/N of the drone apparently, not any account.
If I sell the drone it goes with it.

The fly away coverage is different. It needs to be unbound from the device you fly with in order for someone else to activate the drone. That's to keep people from stealing a drone (or indeed finding one that has force landed) and just buying a controller . It won't activate without being unbound from the device it is bound to. I believe however you can unbind it from another device as long as you have the login.
