How to record video with info on screen

How do you record a video which has all the info on the screen such as dist./altitude etc.?

I don't do this myself, but have looked into it a bit.
Google screen record apps.

I'm not sure how much you need in resources you need to do this, say a flight 20 mins, video files must be a decent size, so storage space would be something to check out what is used / needed.

I'm amazed sometimes how much effort people put into videos using video taken, screen recordings, and often cameras videoing the pilot on the ground . . . very common with tutorials, but it must take a lot of time to do this and then edit !!

When I want to do a test being I use a IOS I just do a screen recording. Have never messed with anything else.

In those few occasions I want to have that I use DashWare --> DashWare - Telemetry Data Overlay on Your Videos It's done in post on the PC.
