Yes I agree! Using a magnetic cable is the way to go. Been using them for a long time. The other, not as popular thing to do, is use a reversible USB cable. Reduces the wear and tear on that tiny port.

My advice to everyone is that before your port breaks, get a cable and leave it in there. Cables are cheap, port repairs are not.

There a many members and customers of mine who I send these to. They are very handy and will insure the longevity of your port.

Yep! This is no doubt a simple repair that many should be able to successfully do on their own.

The best way to avoid the repair, which I have done hundreds of, is to avoid the damage in the first place.

Use the bottom port for data, and only the side port for charging but get the magnetic cable.

Try contacting a repair shop like DJI Drone Service. They often have spare parts for sale.
