Had my early edition Inspire 1 but just wasn't using it these days so I put it on Craigs List. A guy texted me and asked if I would trade my Inspire for his three week old Mavic 2 Pro. I thought it over for almost five seconds and texted back, oh heck yeah!
I'd never heard of the M2P edition till that day and after reading and watching several YouTube intros I think I've made a really good choice. I like the small size of the whole kit especially now that I've ordered a soft case to carry everything in. No more lugging around a huge and heavy Inspire case on wheels with pull-up handle. I called it my "inspiration killer".
Anyway, I'm very happy to be joining this forum. You all sound like a good group of folks.

youll be happy with it. i recently sold my I1 as it want getting any air time over my M2P. also like you stated the size, weight, bulk of the I1 makes it harder to travel with over the small case i have for the M2P

M2P size is definitely an advantage over the I1. Plus I found people not as receptive to me being near by with my Inspire. My wife even called it evil looking. And I didn't even have the sharks teeth decal on it! No, I think people in parks etc, see the size of the Mavic and just think toy. And that's fine with me while I know this M2P is more option filled than most things flying these days. I'm finding the features just incredible. I can't imagine where DJI will go from here.

oh yea the teeth added to the mean look. tried putting them on my Mavic but they didnt stick too well and the vent ports and plug covers ruined the look as well. might try again though with different location. had em on my MP and like the look too
