HT Electric Pylons and cables

The current shouldn't have any effect on the compass as there ought to be very little RF emissions from the 3-phase transmission system they use. [If you add three equal sine waves at 0deg, 120deg, & 240deg you get 0]. There will be some effect from the metal work, but that's pretty normal, and also likely to be minimal since they're most space rather than the tight lattice of rebar you find in concrete, for instance.

Obviously there's the normal collision hazard and a pylon would almost certainly count as a "building" or "structure" if you have any legal distance requirements (e.g. 50m in the UK). If the M2 has any problems with GPS lock or RF interference/reception (for any reason) the RC will beep at you to warn you of this, so as long as you maintain whichever is the larger of the required legal distance and what you are comfortable flying you'll be fine.
