I was hoping that maybe someone would be able to donate a drone to me? I’m never going to be able to afford one that I can use to chase a career. I have little to no money ever since my daughter was born

I thought the same thing when my daughter and then my son was born. I just saved all my pennies and one day bought a used one. You can do it too, it just takes time and I have more value out of it than if someone just gave me one. All things in life require investment, including drones and children.

Since you will need a Part 107 license to make money at this, consider saving some money For the test fee while studying for the Part 107 exam. After you get your license, you might be able to convince a local realtor to buy the drone as a company asset and you can begin making money at it. Maybe you do the first couple of jobs for the realtor at no charge to pay off the drone (or even an advance for the test fee for that matter)
