I think there was a thread about this but I could not find it. FWIW I just imported 6.25GB and it took roughly 10 seconds. Mac with Thunderbolt 4.
That’s insane. Good to know in case I take the plunge for the Mavic 4 Pro.I think there was a thread about this but I could not find it. FWIW I just imported 6.25GB and it took roughly 10 seconds. Mac with Thunderbolt 4.
I'm guessing the standard Mavic 4 Pro also offers the same transfer and recording speeds, but the internal SSD size is limited to only 64GB instead of the much larger 512GB, intended to support the massive 1200 Mbs of ALL-I.I think there was a thread about this but I could not find it. Maybe, it’s often found that with SSD’s at least in recent Apple laptops the higher capacity storage offers the fastest read/write times, often by a good margin.I'm guessing the standard Mavic 4 Pro also offers the same transfer and recording speeds, but the internal SSD size is limited to only 64GB instead of the much larger 512GB, intended to support the massive 1200 Mbs of ALL-I.
Same here, and bringing along a 14” laptop to back-up the last flight's recording during battery changes, using the super fast transfer rate!Virtually all larger SSD's read/write faster than smaller ones. Whether you'd notice a difference I dunno. I just know that previously I only used my SD card in my other drones as I shoot too much to use most of those smaller internal ssds. I don't use huge SD cards, preferring to swap them out particularly after shooting something really good. With the Mavic 4 Pro however, if it doesn't return...whatever I shot will be less important than the probably loss / inability to get it fixed so I'm using the Internal Storage now.
