IMU calibration won’t start/compass won’t calibrate

I have a DJI mavic mini and I have been try to fly it ever since I got it. I cannot get the IMU calibration to start and I cannot get it to calibrate compass when i spin it in a 360 horizontally. I have tried the 3 thumps thing and have also tried to refresh the firmware. Anyone got any ideas?

Is there any particular reason that you need to recalibrate the IMU and compass?
If there were problems with the compass or IMU, the app would tell you.
 
It says the following:
Gimbal unable to connect (code: 40012)
IMU calibration required. Calibrate IMU (code: 30050)
IMU not calibrated. Calibrate IMU (code:30055)
GPS signal weak. Positioning accuracy affected. Fly with caution (code: 30049)
Gyroscope initialization failed. Restart aircraft (code: 30045)
No GPS signal. Unable to gover. Fly with caution (code: 30007)
Compass error. Ensure there are no metal or magnetic objects near the aircraft and calibrate it before use (code: 30060)

I have tried to downgrade the firmware and it wont allow me to do that either
 
@masonktm2 may i ask what devise you are using IOS or Android
 
@masonktm2 are you on IOS 15.4 its a recent IOS update a lot of people including myself have been having issues with IOS15.2 and IOS15.3 but since i updated to the latest 15.4 those issues have disappeared there seemed to be a conflict between the newer FLY app updates and IOS after 15.2 the most recent Fly app is 1.5.10

If you had just one of those messages showing, it might be that recalibrating something might help.
But seeing so many all at the same time suggests a bigger problem.
Is this a new drone that's never flown or one that you have flown before?

It is not new. I bought it from somebody and it was tested before it was sent to me
 
Did your seller show you a video of it flying?
Did you connect it with DJI Assistant?

When I connect it to DJI assistant it won’t allow me to do anything but refresh the firmware. I was trying to downgrade it
Firmware isn't going to help.
Those messages are about hardware issues and things not being connected.
 
Did you ever get the issue fixed? I recently bought a brand new one and have tired everything I am sending mine back to DJI
Have you tried flying it?
There's no need to recalibrate anything when you buy a new drone.
