Ipad mini 4 overheating?

Anyone run a iPad mini 4 over heat in flight? Had app shut down in flight today, scary but got home.

I use iPad mini 2 Retina display, have felt the heat/hot on back side. Most often warm not hot comparative speaking. Hot a couple of times but no interference with flight.

I am new to this, 2 weeks in. iPad mini 4 displayed overheating warning and went blank. Fortunately I had the magic in sight and I was able to get home. It is hot outside 98 today.

This happens a lot to my iPhone when I have it in the RAM Mount cradle on my motorcycle bars.

Try lowering your ipad brightness
And i do read it somewhere in this forum that their ipad mini4 is overheating when flying with 90+ degree under the sun
Big beach umbrella perhaps? Haha

ipad mini will overheat and if just left in the sun with nothing connected or running.

Mine over heated today I was using DroneDeploy a mapping software and it over heated. The drone still flew the flight it was intended to fly it was like 80 degrees out vary Lil wind

I think you can't be in the strong sun to long.

Almost overheat my ipad mini 4 for the first time today
It was indicated by the choppy live video on the ipad (mavic is still nearby)
Went straight into the car and put the ipad in front of the aircon
Smooth live video
Flying the rest of the flight from the car
